Neural-Symbolic Integration

The goal of neural-symbolic integration is to combine neural networks’ (also called connectionist systems’) robust learning capabilities with symbolic knowledge representation, reasoning, and explanation capabilities in ways that retain the strengths of each paradigm. The aim of this website is to provide pointers to resources, researchers, papers, events, etc. on the integration of neural computation and symbolic artificial intelligence w.r.t. knowledge representation, reasoning, learning, knowledge extraction, and related issues.

How this website works

This website is set up as a Wiki system using DokuWiki. This means that you can contribute to this website with your knowledge on the topic by adding papers, links to other researchers, discussions, etc. yourself. Please feel free to obtain a login and help to make this site a central point of reference for research on neural-symbolic integration and related areas. If you have any questions regarding this site, please contact us.

Resources

We want to provide resources to researchers and other people interested in the field. In the future you will (hopefully) find here lots of information.

  • Papers related to neural-symbolic integration.
  • Lecture manuscripts on neural-symbolic integration.
  • Slides of presentations concerning neural-symbolic integration.
